Prices and ordering
How much do photos cost?
The more photos you buy, the cheaper each one gets:
- 1 photo: $22.00
- 2 to 3 photos: $19.50 each
- 4 to 5 photos: $17.00 each
- 6 to 8 photos: $12.50 each
- 9 to 13 photos: $11.00 each
- 14 to 19 photos: $9.50 each
- 20 or more photos: $8.00 each
Can I combine photos of friends and family in one order?
Yes. Mix and match photos of your kids, partner, mates or running crew in one order, and everyone gets the lower price per photo.
Do you offer buy all packs?
We used to, but people kept asking for group discounts, so we organised that instead. This way, you only need to choose the images you like best and get those. The more you get, the cheaper the images become. Plus, if you get together with your friends and family or even add in the same events from previous years, you can grab some great deals.
Can I get a refund?
That will depend on the issue. If you do not like the image, maybe you were sticking your tongue out or some such, then, so long as you have not yet downloaded it, we can swap it for another. If there is an obvious issue with the photo from our end, then yes.
Finding your photos
How do I find my race images?
On the homepage, choose your event in the Find your race photos box, enter your race number and click Show my photos. Inside each event gallery you can also just enter your race number at the top of the page. If your number wasn't visible in a shot, check the No Number gallery for your event, especially if your search turns up nothing.
Are there any more images to upload? I think there were more shots of me.
We do not hold back photos after the event. About 98% of the images we take make it onto the site. Some may not meet our quality standards and get deleted. Focus issues, you jumped too high and lost your head, the camera freaked out, and so on, are reasons we might dump the shots. We do not keep these shots, and you will never see them, so no need to ask.
Do you have images from this location? I saw a photographer taking photos there
If they aren't up, we don't have them. Often, we are not the only photographers on the track and probably do not know who the others are.
Downloads, prints and watermarks
Do you sell prints?
No, we sell high-resolution digital downloads only, so you can print your photos wherever you like or share them online.
Do the photos have watermarks?
Only while you're browsing. Photos you download are high-resolution with no watermarks.
I purchased some images, but haven't received them yet
Our system is automated. You would have received an email from us straight away. Unfortunately, they sometimes end up in your junk mail folders. Please check there. If it's not there, send us a message; we'll look into it and get it sorted as quickly as we can.
Can I get a larger-sized image?
Possibly. We don't always keep the full-sized image on file. But we are happy to upgrade you to what we have with an admin fee.
Can I get a sponsored image without the logos?
Yes. We sell unwatermarked images. Let us know your race and race number, plus the filename of any images in the No Number section you are after. We'll send you a link to your own private gallery.
Can you remove this person from my photo?
We usually can. Our rates start at $100/hr and require a minimum of 1 hour.
Using your photos
Can I share my photos on social media?
Yes, you're welcome to share your photos on your own social media. If a business wants to use them to promote a product or service, that's commercial use, so please see our Commercial vs Personal use page.
Can I use my image on my business page? Happy to give you credit.
Great, we're always happy when someone wants to use our images commercially. Send us an email, and we will get back to you quickly with our rates. We definitely appreciate the credit too.
I actually meant, instead of payment
Ah... well... um, this is awkward... so I checked with the team, and they said they are not willing to work for free, so we will have to pass on your offer.
